Multiply the entire equation by ten.\[-4x-90 < 9\]Multiply by (-1) to get the negative sign out of the way. Note that when you do that you need to take care and change the equality sign.\[4x+90 > -9\]Subtract 90 from both sides and then divide by 4 to get the answer.
