5(n+2)=3/5(5+10n)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you have distribute the 5 to n+2 and 3/5 to 5 + 10. 5(n+2) = 3/5(5+10) 5n + 10 = 3 + 6 Now combine like terms. 5n + 10 = 9 Subtract 10 from both sides. -10 -10 -------------- 5n = -1 divide both sides by 5 /5 /5 ----------- n = -1/5
