OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Its a line with slope 2 that at (0,2) The negative signs of our y values get flipped to positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the final vertex of the V is (1, 4), correct?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

hmmmm Not sure what u mean The vertex of this is (0,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, would the slope make the vertex go up 2 and over 1?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Well in most cases the vertex would be at (0,0) but we have a y intercept at 2 our vertex is at (0,2) Our vertex isnt related to the slope whatsoever

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh...I see. Thanks
