The vertices of a triangle are P(3, 7), Q(7, –6), and R(–8, 7). Name the vertices of the image reflected across the x-axis. (1 point) P'(3, –7), Q'(7, 6), R'(–8, –7) P'(–3, 7), Q'(–7, –6), R'(8, 7) P'(–3, –7), Q'(–7, 6), R'(8, –7) P'(3, 7), Q'(7, –6), R'(–8, 7)
you can do this... we did the same thing earlier. Reflect across x means you take a point like (1,2) and you drop it down, across the x axis, to the point that is the same distance below... so it would reflect to (1, -2). A point that starts below, like (1, -2) would reflect up to become (1, 2) Just do that for each of the points in this problem...
I think the answer is A.
good for you :) you beat the time-clock and got the right answer :) Gotta run for now... good luck!
