Make a ratio:

1 cubic yard : 1700 lb of gravel
6 cubic yards = ?? lb of gravel

Forget about the cement and sand... those are distractors.

If you need 1700 for 1 cubic yard, how much do you need for 6 cubic yards?

It must be more than 1700, right?   Maybe 6 times more?  Just talk these out... try to think about what they're saying... you can get it.
