What affect does light have on waters oxygen

I don't think light can affect the bonded oxygen in water. Anyone please.. any idea about this question ...

if its pond water..under the light,it might have a higher level of dissolved oxygen. The light would provide energy for oxygenic photosynthesis by whatever algaes might happen to be in the pond water.. hope that helps..
