What types of specimens were you able to view under each of the microscopes in the microscope activity? How did the specimen views differ?

depends on which microscopic method you are using. If you are selecting normal dissection one that has only ~10X magnification so can view little more details compared to eye's normal vision power. while using compound microscope we can attain micrometer level and with electron microscopy ~Angstrom level. There are so many type of microscopy available. Sample type/preparation also depends on which microscopy method in selection.
