How to solve this? Please include steps. Help much appreciated!! 5(x-7)+2(1-x)>3(x-11)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it just > and not \[\ge\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5(x-7)+2(1-x)>3(x-11) 5x-35+2-2x > 3x-33 3x-33 > 3x-33 If it's just > then no x can satisfy that. So there's no solution. But if it's > or equal to then x can be any real number.
