Every time I log on to Openstudy I get a message thanking me for vetifying my email and have to wait for page to be redirected. Is there some way to get rid of this?

I've never heard of this. It may be an issue in the writing. Next time it happens click CTRL + S and let us know if there is an issue.
If you click the "X" next to the message it should disappear permanently.
Thanks for your answers - I was accessing the web site on my Android phone, but when I logged on with my PC, the "X" was visible so I could click it and this has resolved the problem
Ahhhhhh. Yeah, the mobile flow for verification is a little bit sub-par, I'll grant you that. Something we need to work on.
