Does anyone have any ideas for experiments I can do involving Food Chemistry (proteins, carbs, fats)?
I think these might help. 'Cryptic Carbohydrates' sounds closest to the experiment you're looking for. Most of the procedures are not really labs, except 'Jelly Consistency'.
Hmm...I don't find these appealing. Anyways do you have any ideas on a RESEARCH QUESTION? Like "Does potato chips have more energy than corn chips?" or"Is margarine or butter more unsaturated?" Like those, do you have any?
Research questions, okay. Is amylase a reactant or product? What percent of corn is sugar? Why is butter solid at room temperature? How does sugar preserve fruit? I suppose you could use something like that to conduct a lab procedure.
I apologize. I'm not helping very much. Perhaps someone with more knowledge about Chemistry can help.
Hmm..thanks :) But I think the research question has to be at a larger scale than those. Yeah no one is answering though :(
supersize me
Come on please.
