i saw the first video lecture just now....
i want to know the teminal that i need to download for programming in python..

When you download Python you will get a programming environment, an alternative is to get Psyscripter http://code.google.com/p/pyscripter/

there are plenty of them, for ubuntu (linux) there is geany.... and for windows python package comes with an IDE i.e. IDLE.

@minali are u talking about edx 6.00x or OCW 6.00? if Edx is the case u should download python from this link:
http://www.enthought.com/products/epd_free.php

choose what suits you best.
