hey i have gone through this and am a lot confused: Which of these is NOT found in a typical cell membrane? proteins carbohydrates lipids nucleic acids i think it might be c but am not completely certain.

Yep! DNA and RNA are nucleic acids. DNA is found in the nucleus, and you're likely to find RNA there and in the cytoplasm too, but it has no reason to be in the membrane.
