12z - 3 > 2z - 15 First subtract 2z from both sides. -2z -2z ---------------- 10z - 3 > -15 Then add 3 to both sides. +3 +3 -------------- 10z > -12 Then divide each side by 10. /10 /10 ---------- z > -12/10 or in decimal form -1.2
