Ok there are 52 poker cards what is the possibilty of me getting red or black its 26 of them so does this means that it would be 26/26?
Yes the possibilty of you getting red or black is 26/52 doesnt matter which color . :D
@Guy, before you answer the question, its important to know how many cards are drawn , ansd also if they are being replaced or not the final answer depends on the situation
Nice Thanks I Guess Your Right Haven't Gone Over That Scenario. But and it really doesnt matter how many are drawn because he just wants to know how many of them woud be black or red in a fraction.. in my opinion
Event A: 1 card is drawn AT RANDOM (those words are very important) and not being replaced so one card can be picked from 52 in 52C1 ways (combination) we have 26 red cards (heart, diamond) and 26 black cards ( club, spade) the probability that this card is red is 26C1 / 52C1 the probability that this card is black is 26C1 / 52C1
ofcourse that is not the final answer, it all depends on whether ONE card is drawn OR two cards are drawn hope this helps to understand and break down the problem
