Find the resultant of these two vectors, 200 m at 0 degrees and 400 m at 150 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to find the x and y components of them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i know you set it up like this|dw:1349396844269:dw|

Well let me see if i can help you out. I would break them down into cartesian points (x,y) and then I would add the x's togeter and then add the y's together. After you are down with that doing the pathagran therom on those and it will give you the magnitude of the line.

so would the answer be 248? with an angle of 126 degrees?
