Passes through (-2,2) and (5,-4) find the slope and the equation using y=mx+b form. I need to see all the steps when finding b ( y-intercept).

Do you need to find a line that passes through this point? In that case it would be best to do this: Find the slope using this equation: m(slope)= y2-y1/x2-x1 (Here y1 could equal 2 and y2 could equal -4, or the other way around. Just make sure that whichever set of coordinates you choose to be your first is the one you use for both the x and the y) Then plug in one of the set of points into the equation: y=mx+b. This will give you your b, or y-intercept.
