What's the different between linear dependent and independent? If I hv 4 variable with 4 equation, what should I do for solving the 4 variable, by using elimination or putting into matrix and using Gauss elimination?

With 4 equations, I'd recommend a matrix and use Gauss or Gauss-Jordan elimination (Row-echelon form or Reduced-row-echelon form).

Dependent equations are equivalent to other equations or combinations of equations in the system. Dependent equations do not offer any new information and are redundant.
