a function and its tangent line at the point B =(3.6,7) . If the point A on the tangent line is (3.58,7.02) , fill in the blanks below to complete the statements about the function at the point . g(___) =_____ G'(____)=_____

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3.6,7) is a point on the function... x=3.6, y= 7 for the second part, find the slope of the line from (3.6, 7) to (3.58, 7.02). That's the derivative at x=3.6

I don't really understand, is there any formulas or could you explain a little more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

formulae for finding slope? rise/run: (yf-yi)/ (xf-xi)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried plugging in points in for the g(___) but it wants a single number, im not sure what to put in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does the answer field look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it looks just like that, g(__) = ____ and g'(___) = ____ It wants you to find the ____, when I plug in points for g(___) it asks for a single number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take a screen shot and post it I guess. can't tell you what they want unless you show me the page.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question is just like that but there is a picture, ill draw it for you
