every person is knowledgeable in some or the other way.
greens and purples are no special, they just help lots of people, so u cannot say they are more knowledgeable.
and i don't think there is a particular way to find who is more knowledgeable....

akash, its not necessary that people studying for iit are knowledgeable.
here we have people graduated from MIT also

Yep right..getting into iit needs depth in subjects but getting into MIT needs personal,qualitiies and not much of depth in subjects

How is IIT any good when we can find no job in the country?
Indian syllabus is one of the hardest syllabi in the world, but the problem is, being so smart and hardworking, good people cannot find a job because of RESERVATIONS..

I think everyone in knowledgeable in their own way. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Just because someone has a green or purple sign dosen't mean that they are more "knowledgeable" than others.

cbse is the well crafted and best syllabus to my knowledge, there are so many bright students wid good concepts - for ex, check parthkohli - hez in 8th standard, did he ever sound like an 8th grade kid here ?
