Two sinusoidal waves, identical except for phase, travel in the same direction along a string, producing a net wave y´(x, t) = (1.9 mm) sin(39x - 7.1t + 0.95 rad)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is (b) the phase difference between them, and (c) their amplitude ym (in mm)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am stuck on c more than b. I can;'t say the amplitude is 1.9mm because the two waves superimpose on each other creating a resultant wave.
