y+2 >6 y>4 y+2<-6 y<-8
first one start with \[y+2>6\] solve for \(y\) by subtracting 2 and get \(y>2\)
second one is \(y+2<-6\) again subtract 2 and get \(y<-8\)
ooops what @Yahoo! said, i made an arithmetic error! \(6-2=4\) !
