I have to match these items. Some I have gotten on my own, but some I need help with, I'm just putting the whole thing up so you can see what I've done too. Match these items. Match the items in the left column to the items in the right column. 1.impulse/time force 2.numerical equivalent of impulse velocity 3.center-seeking change in direction of velocity 3 centripetal acceleration 4.an object in motion stays in motion unless an external 7 centripetal force force acts on it 5.9.8 m/s^2 5 acceleration due to gravity 6.F=m(v/t) Newton's Second Law 7.force that produces uniform circular motion the change in momentum 8.equal to gravitational mass 8 inertial mass 9.the force that one object exerts on another object 4 Newton's First Law 10.momentum/mass 9 gravitational force

So it's really confusing, but I hope this makes sense.

1. Impulse is force times time. Divide that by time and get? 2. Force is mass times acceleration. Multiply acceleration by time and get velocity. Now we have mass times velocity, which is what? 3. Correct. 4. Correct. 5. Correct. 6. This is one of Newton's laws, but written in different terms. meters per second divided by seconds gives units of what? 7. Correct. 8. Correct 9. Correct. 10. If momentum is mass times velocity and we divide that by mass, we are left with what?

Ohhh. Okay. So I have to write these out to help me, but you don't have to read this :P But for 1 it would be force because it would be impulse/time. For 2, m*v gives you momentum, right ? For 6, it would give you a Newton, making it the second law. & for 10, it would give you velocity. Okay, so I'm good. Thanks for helping. I liked how you made me think on my own instead of just giving me the answers. It helps me to remember it :) I really appreciate it!!!

Those are all correct. Good work. You're welcome.
