Anyone want to plot this for me? f(x)=-√(x+1) would really appreciate it! Please plot it on the screenshot, if you can --then, repost the screenshot. You can edit the screenshot in paint if you save the image, then left click on it, opening it in paint

Can't you just plot it in Wolfram Alpha?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What if I told you how to plot it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, I thought you needed to see it drawn. I now see you asked someone to do it for you. L.T.'s advice is much better then.

Perhaps I'm missing what you're asking, but to get exact points, plug in values. Put a value of x, and it will give you f(x), aka the y-value. When x = 1, y = -√2 When x = 2, y = -√3 When x = 3, y = -√4 = -2 Et cetera.

That looks pretty good.

The domain is whatever X is allowed to be.
