At one instant a bicyclist is 30 m due east of a park's flagpole, going due south with a speed of 20 m/s. Then, 8 s later, the cyclist is 50 m due north of the flagpole, going due east with a speed of 8 m/s. For the cyclist in this 8 s interval, find each of the following. (c) average acceleration magnitude m/s2 direction ° north of east

OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

i know acceleration is change in velocity over change in time, but i'm not sure how to use the information provided to answer the question. Thanks in advance

What i like most about this place is once i type my question here i see what i'm doing wrong. for anyone Googleing this, use the use the 8m/s as your X and -20m/s as your Y and Pythagorean out the magnitude and divide by time then Arc-tan the angle.
