yes is right but i think that will be more easy if you will factoriz out first the 3x from both sides and than will get 3x(2x)=3x(7)so than divide both sides by 3x and will get
2x=7
x=7/2

and so is right sure that you need to accept again that when 3x=0 so x=0 so this root will be right too
