Hello can anyone help me out how dx=vdv/a

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

how huhhjkhjluiguig=7878?

OpenStudy (calculusfunctions):

What?? Can you please write the exact question word by word.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dv/dx = a (assuming v is velocity, a is acceleration) -> dv = a dx -> v dv = v a dx -> v/a dv = v dx So I can't see how to get it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats wat iam saying how its equal ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think it is equal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no no its equal let me write the full equation !!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, maybe it is after all... since v dv/dx = a -> vdv/a = adx -> dx=vdv/a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Since v dv/dx = dx/dt * dv/dx = dv/dt = a)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea maybe, but anyway thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome:-)
