How do you enter multiple lines of code before executing the program? I am writing the scripts in "Idle", is this correct?

try going File -->New Window and write ur code there. then save it as name.py and run it. you can run it by pressing f5 aswell. gl:)

Just like MicroBot said, but in the new window rewrite or copy your code (without ">>>"). Save it with the extension .py and run it.
