hit and trial ? i.e. option checking maybe ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

x^2 -8x +7=0 you ned getting this equation so but before all you need making the restrictions for x when the fractions wann to be zero so because than the fractions are undefined hope so much that is understandably sure right

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so x not can being equal zero and from 8x -7=0 8x=7 x=7/8 so than you get that x not can being again equal 7/8 ok ? understood it way is necessary this ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry not way wann being why ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so x^2 -8x +7 =0 can you factorizing it ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

Nicole you dont like cooperating nothing ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so do you understand anything from this please ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@JakeV8 how do you think is right and can you continue it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is right so far. Next step is factoring to find the solutions for x. I was watching to see @KerenNicole work the next part.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes thank you but how you can see too Nicole dont like cooperating nothing so than finaliz it you and will get the medal you for it ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok so than will be (x-7)(x-1)=0 x-7=0 x=7 and x-1=0 x=1 right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already know this topic... I was just stopping by to watch the lesson :) But medals are fun :) x^2 -8x +7 =0 (x - 7)(x - 1) = 0 x = 7 and x = 1 are possible values of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! :)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok Nicole hope so much that was understandably sure right for you too good luck bye

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

was

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

my pleasure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry I was not on my laptop, but thanks for the help !

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

you are welcom good luck bye
