can someone please help me write an essay i been trying to write for a long time but dont understand :( help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As the new nation grew, prior to the Civil War, the country benefited from the contributions of a variety of individuals and groups. Assess the contributions made by Americans representing at least two of the following groups: Women Native Americans African Americans

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Women- kitchen Native Americans- land African Americans- free labor (slaves)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Politically correct, as always.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's also technically correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pretty much nailed it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no thats the prompt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow i didnt get a medal for my answer this is madness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(pre-civil war) so a bunch of women, Native Americans, and Africans walk into a bar ... who pays the bill?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The most important women back then were usually the wives of politicians. Abigail Adams most likely paid her husband's beer tab, and also pressured him to make society less oppressive to women. Unfortunately, Mr. Adams did nothing of the sort. She also asked him to go against slavery.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong ... NOBODY PAID! women belonged in kitchens, Natives didn't hit the bar they were too busy raindancing around bruning teepees, and africans were too busy singing sappy songs while picking cotton

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's a 5 pararaph essay can someone help me write the introduction paragraph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DAMN i'm good!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not really. Citations please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

medal medal medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Girl, it ain't that hard to go on Wikipedia and copy-paste their citations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

citations for what that was written by me and the supporting paragraphs can include citations when she quotes or paraphrases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should copy and paste to google and see if i copied it from anywhere.... i wrote that ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"contributions made by them are vast" Vague assertion. Rather than saying their contributions were vast, say exactly what they did. "during the era before the American Civil War they made major contributions to contemporary times." Tautological followup from the previous statement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH wtf r u a NEWB dude its part of the pre thesis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you dont support your claims in the FIRST PARAGRAPH lmao wth you're trolling just stop

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Girl, you should never make technically incorrect statements. Follow the CMS http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, "vague" statements. Not technically incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lmao @ chicago style how do u know if its not ASA or MLA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, you can go to any of the two and they will say the same thing. Instead of using "contributions were vast" as a hook and repeating it, maybe you could bring up a specific example. Technical writing 101.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

stop osaying "girl" r u gay ? your attempts at being ghetto and "hood" are funny

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm just trying to be fabulous. Why you hatin on the gays?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kill yoself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is going to far !! i just need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wrote your first paragraph u have my permission to use it freely =P good luck sara

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
