tell whether the sequence 1/3, 0, 1, -2 is arithmetic, geometric, or neither. Find the next 3 terms of the sequence.

The series is probably neither arithmetic nor geometric. What I could figure out was the following pattern of additions to each of the terms: -1/3 (added to 1/3 gives 0) +1 (added to 0 gives 1) -3 (added to 1 gives -2) So next 3 additions should be +9 (added to -2 gives +7) -27 (added to 7 gives -20) +81 (added to -20 gives +61) So next 3 terms--> 7,-20,61
