1. In Bohr's model of the atom, where are the electrons and protons located? (1 point)A.The electrons move around the protons, which are at the center of the atom. B.The electrons and protons move throughout the atom. C.The electrons occupy fixed positions around the protons, which are at the center of the atom. D.The electrons and protons are located throughout the atom, but they are not free to move.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

google bhors model

OpenStudy (anonymous):

iight

OpenStudy (fellowroot):

Bohr's model was that electrons orbit the nucleus in circular orbits and the electrons while in orbit would not radiate any energy which actually violated classical physics because accelerating electric charges emit EM waves.

OpenStudy (fellowroot):

Its either A or C. The wording is kind of weird.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i doubt its Fixed positions, but im not positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait maby this is refering to valence levels

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whats the answer ?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

i think its C the electrons revolve in fixed orbits around the nucleus which contains the protons

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

but the orbits are fixed not the electrons - it maybe A - the question is a bit confusing

OpenStudy (cagliero423):

1. A (The electrons move around the protons, which are the center...) 2. A (It decreases) 3. B (Dumbbell) 4. A (Energy sublevel)

OpenStudy (rockinhood):

Can confirm these are correct ^^
