GEOMETRY HELP?(: Millie is using a software program that allows her to change the shape of a two-dimensional figure by making changes to the angles at vertices. She starts with a quadrilateral with all four angles congruent. She moves the vertices to make two pairs of congruent angles. Which statement best describes the figure that she created? She changed a rectangle to parallelogram. She changed a rhombus to a kite. She changed a rectangle to a trapezoid. She changed a rhombus to a parallelogram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it's C.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

she started with rectangle for sure

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

coz only in rectangle all 4 angles are congruent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then moved vertices and makes two congruent pairs of angles. Doesn't a trapezoid have two angles on the top equal and two on the bottom equal?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

she ends up wid a two congruent pairs of angles.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

trapezoid has one pair of parallel sides. thats all. no angles are congruent in a trapezoid

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it has to be the parallelogram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand now the difference between both of them, thank you(:

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

when wil u teach me solving the rubic in < 20 sec ha ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have one yet? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry school's been very busy): You want to learn how to do it the fast way or slow way? Fast way requires you to memorize many algorithms while the slow way is the same thing but way less algorithms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can assist you right now, are you familiar with the cube rotation? Left side Back side and then left prime back prime?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes prime = CCW ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

il bring my cube wait..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes prime is just counter clock wise. Have you gotten anywhere on the last layer? Which should be on top by the way :P

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

top = white, bottom = yellow guess its exactly same as the orientation in ur pix... :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

i want to learn bottom from scratch

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It all depends on which side you solve first, I solve white first so my last layer is yellow which is on top when I'm done solving :P what side do you solve first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1349584789343:dw| You're talking about that?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
