OpenStudy (ash2326):

@Lunalovegood Do you know what's a centroid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the center?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yes, for a triangle it's the intersection of the medians.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, would it be b

OpenStudy (ash2326):

how did you find?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well since DK=16, and CD looks longer i thought it would be 18

OpenStudy (ash2326):

ha ha :D But we need to find it. Let's work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Just wait for some time. I'm thinking about it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hint : CD = 2*GD

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

with just DK i think we cant find CD ...

OpenStudy (ash2326):

I was overlooking this. Thanks @ganeshie8 @Lunalovegood Do you get this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so was i right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

about thinking it was b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are correct. Since the bisector divides the line in two. CD is twice GD.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

triangle CDF and GDF are congruent....
