find the equation of the tangent at x=2 at the following function: f(x)= (4x^3)/(1-4x)^5

hartnn (hartnn):

can u differentiate f(x) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x^2(8x+3)/(1-4x)^6

hartnn (hartnn):

u using quotient rule, right ? plz, verify it again, thats not right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i used wolfram alpha you can use it, but i cant find the equation :/

hartnn (hartnn):

now put x= 2 int that equation, you will get the slope of line

hartnn (hartnn):

put x= 2 in f(x) also so u get a point on that curve(x,y) then the equation of line is : (y-y1)=m(x-x1)

hartnn (hartnn):

point(x1,y1)*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay ill try that too but ive been putting x=2 in the equation you sent but im not getting the answer thanks anyways!
