I FORGOT MY WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE PASSWORD, i HAVE NOT CREATED A PASSWORD RESET DISK, NEITHER I HAVE ACCESS TO MY COMPUTER, I HAVE TRIED MANY SOFTWARES AND BOOT DISKS BUT NONE OF THEM WORK BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FREE OR HAVE SOME SORTA PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP ME OR PROVIDE ME A SOFTWARE WHICH CAN HELP ME OUT :)
At the welcome..Screen...Press Alt + cltrl + Delete
and...Type the Name as Administrator..)
TRIED THAT LOL
I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THIS @estudier
If those programs don't work, your only choice is a professional recovery service. That's expensive but you may want to do it if your data is valuable enough.
@estudier I know thats the last thing i can do but i hope there are more options :(
Nope
I got a bootable drive i hope that works :(
try to download softwares from torrents
What happens when you start your machine?
The welcome page where you have to type your password appears @estudier
So there is only 1 user, you, and your user password is the same as your administrator password, is that right?
I dont have any other accounts :(
What I mean is the pasword you have for signing into Windows the same one that you gave when you set up windows in the first place (the administrator password)
@estudier Yes but i changed it after that
So you have forgotten both of them?
take ur harddisk out and put it in another 2 harddisk system, then u can access ur data.
its same as bootable drive thing, you wil be able to access ur hard disk data, but not sure how to retrieve ur password back
unless u forget ur harddisk password also :)
@ganeshie8 Out of my laptop 0-o ??
oh its laptop, then its formfactor would be less
then bootable drive is the quick way to acces ur hard-disk data
@estudier Its just that i changed my password last night and now its not working :(
I know my password but i dont know why isnt my new password working :(
What I want to know is whether or not you know the administrator password (the one you used to set up Windows at the very beginning)
I dont remember :(
Yeah i did try oph crack
It should work, maybe you have to run it several times...
OK, you can still access your data (I thought before that you could not get the machine to work at all). You need a utility to access the data in DOS and then you can copy it to another drive.
Actually there are no free software's when you run them they either work partially or dont work :(
This software has worked for many people before, it is the best.
So you get a usb drive loaded with DOS commander etc and copy your files to it or to another drive
Well my laptop holds a lot of data :(
Like I said, you will have to copy it, it will take a long time if there are a lot of files, but iot will be done eventually.
My games cover 320 GB space and there is alot more data :(
Like I said, it will take a long time.....
A very Long Time, Btw if i crack into the system will it have any system loses :(
I don't understand?
the best thing for you to do is to boot your os in starting screen
Ok thanks alot everyone ill be back after i try this
@hba there are a few programs online, I have actually tried one already and it worked, really simple to use, would you like the name of it. but you must have little knowledge of programming, very little that is
@heedcom I have tried every single program none of them is free when it comes to change password so they ask for purchasing if i want to change password to access my account
I am currently checking out the program which clcaps gave me i hope it works
Well the app that colcaps gave me isnt working :(
Ophcrack
Does not ask you for money
I have it and it is not working :(
Just checking, have you actually tried going into your prelogin screen (the one where you can select various options including to go back to an earlier version of Windows)
Well with another software and when it said you have to buy the software i was like wtf
I am not talking about using another software, I am talking about when you boot up, there is a key you can press that takes you to a screen with various options.
yeah we have to press the F9 Key to go to the Boot Option
I don't know if it will work or not, there is option to restore back to previous settings that worked (somethinglike that), you could try that. Also do you have win restore active?
Do u have Windows Installation DVD (it is bootable)?
