Think about it. If a figure is a quadrilateral , then it is a square? That's not always true. What about a trapezoid? If a figure is not a square then it is not a quadrilateral? What about rhombus, etc? If a figure is a rectangle, then it is a quadrilateral? That is true but it doesn't show that in the diagram. Therefore, the last one is the correct choice.
