if u need help reading the numbers in the picture let me kno

Choose one answer. a. 8 b. 10 c. 4 d. 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation in the corner is (5x+10)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and those are both 12's at the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Didn't you have another congruent triangle problem earlier? FP = PH = 12 the two half-triangles share side PG and the angles at F and H are both 90 So the two small triangles are congruent, meaning the angle labeled as (5x + 10) is equal to the corresponding small angle beside it. Together, the two angles make up angle FGH, and the measure of FGH is given as 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm so how do i find x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put the equation = to 60?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

almost... FGH is twice as big as (5x+10), so... (2)(5x + 10) = 60 And then solve for x
