A linear transformation T: ℝ²→ℝ² first reflects points through the x1-axis and then reflects points through the x2-axis. Show that T can also be described as a linear transformation that rotates points about the origin. What is the angle of rotation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 refs make a rot is true. Use the (matrix?) defn's to show it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, but then how would I find the angle of rotation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind, I figured out that the angle of rotation was pi radians, but could anyone check that for me?
