Write the equation in slope-intercept form, and then find the slope and y-intercept. -4y-8x=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Get the y all by itself on the left side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So...Subtract 8x from 8x and 8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then divide? Like before?..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well this time the 8x is being subtracted from the left so you do the opposite operation which is adding. So you get -4y=8x+8 and then divide by -4
