A particle moves along a line so that its position at any time r>/ 0 is given by the function : s(t) = t^2 -3t +2 where is measured in meters and t in seconds. a) Find the displacement during the first 5 seconds.

i put in into the equation (each second, 1, 2, 3 etc.) and i took the avg. i did not get 10 m/s which is the answer

i meant at 1 sec i got 0, 2s = 0, 3s = 2, 4s = 6, 5s = 12
