how does -3/sqrt(4-x^2) == -3/(2 sqrt(1-x^2/4))

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

sqrt(4-x^2) sqrt(4(1-x^2/4)) sqrt(4)*sqrt(1-x^2/4) 2*sqrt(1-x^2/4)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

So this shows that -3/sqrt(4-x^2) turns into -3/(2*sqrt(1-x^2/4))
