scott noted that the fast frieghtt left at noon and arrived therre at 6 pm. the next day he realized that the slow frieght had made the same trip 8 hours. what was the speed of the slow frieght if the speed of the fast frieght was 60 miles per hour?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Distance= RatexTime So the fast train distance =6x60=320 total distance To find slow train divide the 8 hour t by total distance. 320/8= 40mph

60X6 = 360
