well shifts of the graph of a function left and right occur when a constant is added to x (shift left) or subtracted from 4 (shift right). shifts up or down on the y-axis occur when a constant is added to the whole equation (shift up) or subtracted (shift down)
so here's an example using abs value \[y = |x| + 4\] is a vertical shift up 4 units. apply the rest
so y+11=|x|+5?
