no, it is beginner level python. No prerequisites are supposed to be necessary aside from high school algebra.

ya there is no kind of criteria..it is very easy infact..just try..you will defnitely understand

you can always drop MOOC if you find it distracting. I'd say give it a shot if you're curious, you can always change your mind.

There will be plenty of people in here that can help you through it. I'm a retired programmer without Python experience just looking for an easy introduction to MOOC courseware. I'd guess there are other experienced programmer here also.
