it is a connection taht allows 4r the transmission of nerve impulses ,and it is found bet nerve cells! well to expalin the structure of nerve cell- u knw tat nerve cell has a cell body ,dendrites, and u have axons that bring information away by sending signals across the synapse between the nerve cell and another cell. in short A synapse is a small gap at the end of a neuron that allows information to pass from one neuron to the next.
