PROVE SYSTEMATICALLY WHY REAL NUMBERS ARE SUBSET OF COMPLEX NUMBERS
i think it has something to do with the fact that a + bi when b = 0 is a real number likewise, a + bi when a = 0 is an imaginary number therefore, they would be subsets of the complex numbers and in a sense the complex numbers are a bridge between the two its 3am though so im not going to systematically prove anything lol
OK I GET U BT CAN U EXPLIAM FARTHERE
well another way to explain it is: a + bi = 0 a is a real number, bi is a complex number you can put any real number in for a, and when b = 0, you will receive a real number. therefore, the reals must be a subset of complex numbers, because a complex number of the form a + bi can output every possible real number. (or) you could assume the reals aren't a subset of the complex numbers, and go from there.
BT I LEARNT THAT REAL NUMBERS ARE (-) numbers and (+) numbers so pls list the numbers of real numbers and complex numbers and put them in a venn diagram
@biney hi ,you dont like this systematically explication of ... , a ,,proofe" of ....?
bt some illustration will help
