A rod has length 5m, and radius 1/sqrt(pi) m. At a distance x meters from the left end, density of the rod is given by \[\delta(x) = 4+7x \] g/m^3 Complete a Riemann sum for the total mass of the rod.

I know this starts with a \[\sum\] and that deltax is the inifinitesmal change in x. Im just not sure about the rest of this. What shape or slice do I use from x=0 to 5m? Cylinders?

Ok no luck, how bout setting up the integral to find the mass of the rod? Any tips?
