Myers-Briggs personality typing?

I was just curious if anyone had an interest in this, because if so, there's a website dedicated to it. It's called mbfriends.com
I wasn't told to advertise for them, but I just feel it needs a bit of a push since it's relatively new :) and I'm extremely interested in learning about different temperaments and discovering new things about my own that I might not have noticed before
Studying this is kind of a hobby of mine, and that's why I'm sharing it with all of you

I mainly rely on the conventional Big Five personality factors,

but back when I took Forensic Science, our teacher introduced us to the Meyer-Briggs assessment. And I found it really interesting too!

So what's your personality typing, using Meyer Briggs?

I believe I'm a cross between ISFJ and INFJ, I'm not too sure. But I feel I lean more towards ISFJ :) how about yourself?

Yeah I definitely agree with my personality type, it makes me feel comfortable really :)
No not really, I haven't heard too much, but I have heard of Ennegram

That's cool! It makes me feel comfortable too. I think it definitely allows us to know ourselves a little more.

My forensic science professor introduced the Meyer Briggs typing to us, as a way for us to both gain a little more insight into personality, and understand the impact that is has on success and career choices.

Other than getting to know yourself, has this typing been useful to you in any way?
I don't know where exactly you are, along the career pathway.
Has it reassured you that whatever you're pursuing in life, right now, that you're on the right path?

Well I try not to get too ahead of myself, I like to let my future work itself out for the most part, but it's definitely become a big part of my everyday life as far as curiosity goes when it comes to people lol, I now always wonder about what kind of person I'm faced with and how they differ from me

Yeah, I think I know what you mean. Ever since having taken the Meyer-Briggs assessment, I also have become inclined to look at the way people behave, and wonder how it might fit into their own personality types.

It's really great that the Meyer-Briggs assessment not only shows us more about ourselves, but that it opens up our minds to the possible combinations of other people's personality traits.

I think everyone should go through a Meyer Briggs assessment. Not only once in a lifetime. Because the thing is that these typings apparently have some flexibility.
You might be more of an INFJ now, and more of an ISFJ five years from now. It's pretty neat!
