Hello, New Guy checking in. I'm trying to exercise math muscles that haven't so much as twitched in 30 years. Why? Because I want enough cerebral firepower to understand what scientists are really saying when they talk to each other. Tired of being the poor little innumerate guy in the corner (and suffering some really poor analogies from the intelligentsia).

Well, you could just goto http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/ (Pauls online) All you really have to do is skim over some of it... There is a lot of useful stuff there.
