Hello, New Guy checking in. I'm trying to exercise math muscles that haven't so much as twitched in 30 years. Why? Because I want enough cerebral firepower to understand what scientists are really saying when they talk to each other. Tired of being the poor little innumerate guy in the corner (and suffering some really poor analogies from the intelligentsia).
What is the question
I'm sorry, I didn't understand the format. I guess I was announcing my presence. I'm starting MIT single variable calculus as a refresher. I'm sure I'll be back with questions very soon.
Well, you could just goto http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/ (Pauls online) All you really have to do is skim over some of it... There is a lot of useful stuff there.
message me the queston
@Remguy nice to see you in this group. And welcome to Open Study. This section usually accepts math questions. So, if possible, try not to post soft questions or something not related to math. Also there are lots of other groups, check it out.
Thank you, Dread, I'll check it out very soon.
Got it, EX, thanks for the heads up. Looks like I stepped on the banana peel. Oops.
