Write the equation of the line that passes through each pair of points in slope-intercept form. (-1,1) and (3,-3)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

first you have to find the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already answered this, sir...

OpenStudy (aripotta):

then you can put it in point-slope form and change it to slope-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or you could solve for the slope then plug in an x and a y value for the equation then solve for b in y=mx+b

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i guess, but my way seems easier :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So find the slope: y2-y1/x2-x1 Then but that where m is in y=mx+b Then plug in an x and y value from the last equation.

It depends on your skill level, however I must agree with you @AriPotta
